DUNGENESS CRAB FORAGING DINNER
FORAGING
SATURDAY, February 17 9Am to 3PM
SUNDAY, February 18 9Am to 3PM (SOLD OUT)
We will meet at a designated launching point to gear up for a fun day on the water. Kevin will give a brief overview of the day with our objectives followed by a safety briefing and paddling tips by our safety guide. We will then set out on the water on the hunt for Dungeness crab, seaweed and coastal herbs! Along the way we will learn about the history of the area, the local wildlife and the ocean in general. As we come across ingredients to add to our baskets, the chefs will share different preparations and their thoughts as they put together the menu for our dinner. Half way through the trip we will land on a beach for a break and to eat an unforgettable lunch. After we get our fill of food, drink and laughs we will head out again to pull our crab pots. Working as a team we will pull the crab pots measure the crabs and tuck them away for the paddle back to the launch location.
Foraging trip PRICE $165
